| | | | | | | | | | | | | | The half-peeled lemon is a standard feature in old still-life painting, and here it is subject to my frequent temptation to have things hanging in black space. It also hangs in the kitchen of my friend Thorndyke, who claims her right to have that fact recognised here!
This is also my first completed experiment with a new type of acrylic paint that is designed to dry slowly. It will likely also be my last as after 30 years I have finally made peace with normal quick-drying acrylic and accept that I am wedded to it for life. | | | | | | | |
